This study aims to describe the managerial capabilities of a female school principal in managing the tahfiz (Qur’an memorization) learning program for Grade X students at SMA Assa’adah Bungah Gresik. The background of this research is based on the significant role of school principals as educational managers, especially in the context of tahfiz learning. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The female principal’s managerial capabilities at SMA Assa’adah encompass key management functions such as planning, implementation, supervision, and effective decision-making; (2) The implementation of the tahfiz learning program in Grade X runs effectively through routine activities such as muroja’ah (review), additional memorization, and in-depth verse comprehension; (3) The leadership strategies applied by the principal include motivation, personal guidance, and supervision of the tahfiz process for both dormitory and non-dormitory students
