PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROYEK (PJBL) TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KREATIVITAS SISWA KELAS V DALAM MATA PELAJARAN IPA DI SD NEGERI 25 KOTA PAGARALAM

This study aims to determine the effect of the project-based learning model (PJBL) on increasing the creativity of fifth-grade students in Natural Sciences (IPA) at SD Negeri 25, Pagaralam City. The background of this study is based on the low creativity of students due to the dominance of the lecture method which makes learning less interesting. The study used a quantitative approach with a True Experimental Design type Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The study population was all students of SD Negeri 25, Pagaralam City, with a sample of 30 fifth-grade students selected by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques through objective tests, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using a t-test to determine the difference in results between the experimental and control classes. The results showed that the implementation of PJBL had a significant effect on increasing student creativity. Experimental class students were more active, able to work together, demonstrate creative ideas, and produce real products relevant to science material. Thus, PJBL has proven effective as an alternative innovative learning model to increase student creativity in science subjects in elementary schools
