Gender equality is a strategic issue that is increasingly gaining attention in higher education, including in student organizations as a platform for self-development and leadership. This study aims to analyze the involvement of female students in intra-campus organizations at UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu, identifying participation patterns, obstacles faced, and opportunities to achieve gender equality. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results show that female representation in student organizations is increasing, although male dominance remains strong in strategic positions such as general chair. Female student participation patterns are active at the beginning, but decline as they enter the leadership phase due to double burdens, social pressures, and gender stereotypes. The main obstacles faced are patriarchal culture, organizational structural mechanisms, and personal limitations. However, opportunities for equality are opened through support from campus regulations, increased student awareness of gender, guidance from supervisory lecturers, and the use of digital technology. These findings confirm that student organizations have the potential to become spaces for inclusive and gender-equitable social transformation, in line with Islamic values and sustainable development goals.
