This research aims to improve students' critical analysis of national issues through the implementation of a problem-based learning model (PBM) that is integrated with the perspective of the Pancasila philosophy. The background of this research is the low ability of students to analyze social and political issues in depth, especially from the perspective of the noble values of the nation. The method used is class action research (PTK) with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The subject of the study is a fourth-semester student of the Civic Education study program. Data was collected through observation, interviews, critical analysis skills tests, and documentation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' critical analysis skills after the application of this PBM model. Students are able to identify the root of the problem, evaluate various points of view, and formulate solutions that are relevant to the principles of Pancasila. The implementation of the PBM model not only improves theoretical understanding, but also fosters constructive critical awareness and attitudes. In conclusion, the problem-based learning model combined with the perspective of the Pancasila philosophy is very effective in honing students' critical analysis skills on national issues. This study recommends the use of a similar approach in other courses to develop higher level thinking skills (HOTS) in students.
