PENGARUH PERMAINAN POLYMER CLAY BANTAL TERHADAP KREATIVITAS ANAK DI TK PEMBINA II KOTA BENGKULU

This research is motivated by the fact that many children are unable to complete creative tasks independently due to the lack of variety of play media that can stimulate children's imagination and creativity. Therefore, innovation in interesting and fun learning media is needed to improve children's creativity. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using polymer clay pillow games on children's creativity in Pembina II Kindergarten, Bengkulu City. The type of research used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach using a Pretest-Posttest Control Group design. The study population was all 32 children in the group, consisting of 16 children in the control group and 16 children in the experimental group. The sample taken was 16 children in the experimental group. The instruments used were observation sheets and research scales. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using a t-test using SPSS version 25. The results showed an effect of polymer clay pillow games on children's creativity. This is proven by the significant difference between the pretest and posttest results in the experimental group, with an average difference value of -2.9500, a standard deviation of 14.412, and a t-count of -8.187 at a significance level of 0.05 with 15 degrees of freedom. The significance value obtained is 0.000 <0.05, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that playing with polymer clay pillows has a positive effect on children's creativity at Pembina II Kindergarten in Bengkulu City.
