KAEDAH TAFSIR 'AM DAN TAKHSIS DALAM AL-QUR'AN

Abstract

This research discusses the rules of tafsir 'am and takhsis as one of the important methodologies in interpreting the Al-Qur'an. This method plays a role in understanding general verses ('am) and their specifics (takhsis) to achieve correct and comprehensive understanding. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive-analytical approach. The research results show that the application of 'am and takhsis rules is very important in avoiding misunderstandings in interpreting the Qur'an and provides practical guidance for mufassir in applying the correct interpretation methodology.
