PENGARUH PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT) TERHADAP KERJASAMA SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN INFORMATIKA KELAS X DI SMAN 1 KAMANG MAGEK

This study aims to determine the effect of applying the cooperative learning strategy of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type on students’ collaboration in Informatics learning for Grade X at SMAN 1 Kamang Magek. The background of this research is the low level of student participation and collaboration during the learning process, particularly in group discussions. The research employed an experimental method with a quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of two classes, each comprising 28 students, selected using a simple random sampling technique based on the results of normality and homogeneity tests across all Grade X classes. Data collection instruments involved questionnaires administered before (pretest) and after (posttest) the implementation of the learning strategy. Data were analyzed using an independent samples t-test through IBM SPSS Statistics v.26. The analysis results indicated a significant difference between the class that used the TGT strategy and the class that used conventional strategies, with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. The findings conclude that the implementation of the TGT strategy significantly influences the improvement of student collaboration in Informatics learning. It is recommended that educators apply the TGT strategy as an alternative cooperative learning method to enhance student engagement and collaboration in the classroom.
