PENGARUH DISIPLIN BELAJAR TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PAI PESERTA DIDIK KELAS 1 SMP TAFAQQUH DESA KEPAU JAYA KECAMATAN SIAK HULU

The main problem in this study is the low learning achievement of students in the 1st grade Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subject of Tafaqquh Junior High School, Kepau Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District. Many students have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), are less active in learning, and are often late in collecting assignments. One of the factors that is suspected to be the cause of these low achievements is the lack of learning discipline. This study aims to find out how much the influence of learning discipline on improving PAI learning achievement in students. The method used is a quantitative approach with explanatory analysis techniques. The population in this study is all 1st grade students of Tafaqquh Junior High School totaling 48 people, and all of them were used as samples with saturated sampling techniques. The data collection technique is carried out through a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using the SPSS program with the stages of normality test, linearity test, simple linear regression, and Pearson correlation test. The results showed that learning discipline had a positive and significant influence on PAI learning achievement, with a regression coefficient value of 0.511 and a significance value of 0.000. The Pearson correlation value of 0.709 indicates a strong relationship between the two variables. Thus, it can be concluded that the higher the level of student learning discipline, the higher the learning achievement achieved in PAI subject
