IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN KESISWAAN DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER DISIPLIN DAN TANGGUNG JAWAB SISWA DI SMKS BHINNEKA KARAWANG

This study aims to explore the implementation of student affairs management in shaping students' character, particularly discipline and responsibility, at SMKS Bhinneka Karawang. The background of this research lies in the importance of effective student affairs management as a supporting factor in character education. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used to gain an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon. The research subjects included the principal, the head of student affairs, guidance and counseling teachers, as well as several subject teachers and students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results reveal that student affairs management at SMKS Bhinneka Karawang is carried out through structured planning, systematic organization, collaborative implementation, and consistent supervision. These four stages have been shown to effectively foster students' discipline and sense of responsibility both in academic and non-academic contexts. Therefore, the implementation of student affairs management significantly contributes to the continuous development of positive student character.
