IMPLEMENTASI TEKNIK MEMBACA SCANNING DALAM PENGEMBANGAN LITERASI PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA ANAK KELAS III DI SDN 66 KOTA BENGKULU

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the scanning reading technique in developing literacy in Indonesian language learning for third-grade students at SDN 66, Bengkulu City. The scanning reading technique is a speed reading strategy to find specific information in the text, thereby improving students' literacy skills. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of learning outcomes. The results showed that the application of the scanning reading technique was able to significantly improve students' literacy skills, especially in finding important information from narrative and informative texts. This increase in literacy was seen from students' activeness in reading, accuracy in finding information, and higher interest in learning.
