Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of illustrative image media in learning Asmaul Husna as a means of developing the religious character of elementary school (MI) students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation at MI Al-Hidayah, Bengkulu City. The results of the study indicate that the use of illustrative image media can increase students' interest and understanding of the meaning of Asmaul Husna. The images presented visually and contextually help students recognize the attributes of Allah more concretely, thereby fostering spiritual awareness and religious behavior in everyday life. Teachers play an important role in designing media that is interesting and appropriate to the level of children's cognitive development. Through interactive learning, religious values such as honesty, compassion, and responsibility can be internalized effectively. In conclusion, illustrative image media has proven effective in supporting the strengthening of the religious character of MI students through learning Asmaul Husna.
