Abstract

This study aims to describe the classroom management strategy based on a collaborative approach implemented at SMA Negeri 4 Karawang. The collaborative approach in classroom management emphasizes active participation from all stakeholders, including teachers, students, and the school community, in creating a positive and effective learning environment. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that collaborative classroom management strategies foster a democratic learning atmosphere, strengthen social relationships, and increase students' learning motivation. Additionally, students’ active participation in the learning process improves, as teachers act more as facilitators. Support from the principal, guidance and counseling teachers, and parents plays a significant role in the success of this strategy. These results indicate that the collaborative approach is an effective solution to address 21st-century learning challenges and to realize the profile of Pancasila students in line with the Merdeka Curriculum policy.
