PERSEPSI GURU DAN SISWA TERHADAP METODE TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN AL QUR’AN HADIST DI MAN 4 KARAWANG

This study aims to explore the perceptions of teachers and students regarding the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method in Qur’an Hadith learning at MAN 4 Karawang. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through semi-structured interviews involving three teachers and six students from grades X, XI, and XII. The findings indicate that teachers hold positive perceptions of the TGT method as it increases student engagement and collaboration, although it requires thorough preparation. Students also tend to prefer this method over conventional approaches, as TGT creates a fun, interactive learning environment and enhances self-confidence. Therefore, TGT is considered effective in supporting active and meaningful Qur’an Hadith learning in the madrasah setting.
