Abstract

This study aims to examine the fiqh teaching strategies applied by teachers at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) Aikal, Bengkulu City, and to assess their effectiveness in improving the understanding and practice of religious values in children aged 6 to 12 years. With a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain an in-depth picture of fiqh learning practices in the field. The results of the study indicate that the fiqh teaching strategies at TPQ Aikal include a contextual approach, interactive lectures, educational games, and consistent teacher role models. This strategy has proven effective in shaping Islamic character and improving children's understanding of fiqh. The obstacles faced include limited facilities and differences in the level of understanding of students. This study provides recommendations for the development of more creative and adaptive learning methods so that fiqh education at TPQ can continue to improve its quality and be relevant to the needs of children in the modern era.
