Strategi Ekspositori Guru Bahasa Arab dalam Mengatasi Kesulitan Belajar Materi Nahwu dan Shorof Pada Siswa Kelas VIII MTs Darul Irsyadiyah Selat Beting

This study aims to determine the application of expository strategies by Arabic language teachers in overcoming learning difficulties in Nahwu and Shorof material among eighth-grade students of MTs Darul Irsyadiyah Selat Beting, Labuhanbatu Regency, and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and field research. Data sources were obtained from the principal, Arabic language teachers, and eighth-grade students. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the expository strategy implemented by Arabic language teachers involves systematic and structured delivery of material, providing examples, using learning media, and providing exercises for students. This strategy is considered effective in helping students grasp the previously difficult Nahwu and Shorof material, improving their understanding of Arabic grammatical rules. Supporting factors for implementing this strategy include teacher competence, the availability of learning media, student readiness, and the support of the madrasah environment. Inhibiting factors include diverse student backgrounds, limited learning time, teacher-centered learning, and minimal independent student practice.
