Abstract

Technological developments have transformed sports learning from a hands-on, demonstration-centered model to a more interactive, scalable, and adaptive process. This article aims to critically analyze how technology affects the sports teaching and learning process, especially in the dimensions of learning planning, exercise implementation, feedback, assessment, motivation, and strengthening teacher competence. This manuscript was prepared as an integrative review based on narrative synthesis of scientific studies published from 2021 to 2025 that are relevant to blended learning, video feedback, wearable devices, virtual reality, gamification, artificial intelligence, and teacher digital literacy. The results of the synthesis show that technology is most effective when used as a pedagogical reinforcement, not as a substitute for teachers. Blended learning extends learning time outside of the classroom, VR and gamification improve engagement and motor experiences, while wearable devices and mobile apps provide more personalized feedback. On the other hand, the main obstacles still lie in teachers' digital competencies, infrastructure, workloads, data privacy, and the risk of using technology that is too tool-oriented. This article asserts that sports learning innovations demand a balance between technological sophistication, clarity of learning objectives, and strong pedagogical design. These findings are important for curriculum development, teacher training, and follow-up research that are more contextual and oriented towards real learning outcomes.
