The Karawang Cerdas Scholarship Program is an educational assistance program provided to all levels of education by the Karawang Regency Government with the aim of expanding access and improving the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the role of the program in improving access to and quality of education at the junior high school level. The study uses a literature review method by collecting and examining various written sources, such as official government news, policy reports, media articles, and journals relevant to scholarship programs and education in Karawang Regency. The data obtained was analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify patterns, findings, and implications of the scholarship program's implementation. The results of the study indicate that the Karawang Cerdas Scholarship Program contributes significantly to improving access to education for junior high school students, especially for low-income families, and has a positive impact on learning motivation and academic achievement. However, challenges such as limited quotas and a lack of socialization are still encountered in its implementation. Overall, this program plays an important role in supporting the equal distribution and improvement of education quality in Karawang Regency. This study recommends strengthening the distribution mechanism, improving monitoring, and providing more transparent data to support the program's effectiveness in the future.
